Tim Fox on the Employee Equity Appreciation Rights Plan:
I am very proud of our Employee Equity Appreciation Rights Plan. At our core is a belief in the exchange of abundance. I want us all to see the glass not as half-full, but overflowing. I hope to demonstrate that with this program.
Fox Rehabilitation is unique in that it is a private practice - with hundreds of owners. Each staff member has an interest in our outstanding organization. Each has a part in where we are today and where we will be in the years to come, so it only makes sense for each person to profit from the success they help generate.
While no sale of Fox Rehabilitation is anticipated, such transactions are reality in the healthcare world and it is my belief that all who contribute to the success of a company should share in a profit if it one day is sold.
This organization is full of individuals who embrace, practice, and nurture our beliefs in their everyday behavior. These people are strong in commitment and spirit, lead by example, and exemplify what Fox is all about. This plan was created for these people.
The plan offers vested staff members a share in Fox. People who have proven that they embrace sharing of the responsibilities, the goals, the wins, and the losses we experience as a team. Who show they are more than PTs and OTs and SLPs, by serving the company administratively, clinically and professionally. It's hard work and hard work reaps rewards.
Employee Equity Appreciation Rights Plan
- Two-year eligibility period with graded vesting schedule.
- After vesting, employee becomes a "participant."
- Participants move up a tier system that increases over years of employment.
- Participants earn profit and build equity the longer in the program.
We are all in this together. As I see it we unite in striving forward and making the tough decisions that ensure all of us a share in the success we create.
I deeply appreciate the hard work and dedication of each staff member who has helped make Fox Rehabilitation what it is today. This plan is just one way I can show it.
Warmest regards,
Tim Fox
